Powered by two 775-horsepower turboprop engines driving four-blade composite propellers, the aircraft offers a maximum range of approximately 1,275 nautical miles, an endurance of up to 10 hours, and a service ceiling of 25,000 feet. Designed for demanding operations, the DO228 cruises at approximately 223 knots while delivering exceptional short takeoff and landing performance, requiring as little as 2,600 feet for takeoff and 1,480 feet for landing under standard sea-level conditions.
